Camping with the brownings

We went camping this last weekend. We went to a new spot and it was so pretty. I am a failure though and never took scenery pictures, I'll have to go back sometime cause I really liked it there. Cort had tons of fun, Sammy didn't really, she was pretty cranky. Night time was AWFUL though, a lot of screaming and crying. I did get a few pictures of the horse ride and of a few happy moments with sammy.

4th of July

Birthday Girl!

Sammy had her first birthday July 26th. It was a pretty good day. She didn't want to eat her cupcake though, (cort did the same on his first birthday, what is up with my kids). We had lots of family over and had fun. Oh and no I'm not pregnant. I get asked every now and then if I'm pregnant yet, thanks to Sammy coming so fast after Cort. I was six months pregnant on Corts first birthday. Kind of enjoying a break this time :-)

Corts Second Birthday Party

So these are not in the best order but the above picture is of cort and the toy barn and cow I made for him for his birthday. It was quite the adventure full of lots of mess ups and redos. We had family over for corts birthday party and I think it went well, we were also celebrating clifs birthday since the two birthdays were so close. We fed everyone dinner and treats and let cort blow out his candle, eat his cake (or should I say bath in it, since that is literally what he did with it, pretty funny to watch, not so much fun to clean him up afterwards, oh well, he had fun), and he opened presents ( even had help from cousins). Thanks to all our wonderful family for all the love, support and presents!

Hiking Adventures

Clif loves hiking and goes as often as he can now that its warmer. Cort gets to go a lot which he loves. I got to go a few times, and I even found a horn for the first time in my life.

The Accident

New Car, So nice to have more room!

Back in November I gave Clif the scare of his life when I got in an accident with the kids on the way to pick him up from work. He was only a few feet from the car when it happened and had to watch us get t boned at 45 miles and hour. He says he is constantly scared of letting me go anywhere anymore since he is scared of something happening again. He love us :) we were lucky and I was a little sore, got a bump on my head, and a scrap on my neck. But I was fine. Sammy was scared but not hurt. Cort got the brunt of the accident but we were lucky the he only got bumps bruises and almost bit his tongue off. That may not sound lucky, it made me cry and be sick to my stomach but he healed amazingly! Here are some pics to make it more real:) We bought a ford explorer in january to replace my car (it was totaled). The pic with cort and the bear, our insurance gave him the bear after the accident and he got real attached to it so we named the bear "bobo". The pic of cort with hives is a result of his tongue injury mixed with eating, he had the hives EVERYWHERE on him for about a week, it was sad looking.
